ISSUE #49: - One of the few issues not to feature any of the Diggers
sisters, this issue instead focuses on the students of Julia Diggers: Garfield, Luan, and Carla. Julia
belives Gar to be ready for the next step in his training, but it comes with a risk to his life that Luan
isn't ready for him to make. Mistress and Dr Diggers also make appearances, with Mistress perhaps having
found herself a new tag-team partner. 24 pages of art and story with 2 pages of letters. |

Issue #50: - Fred's 50th issue of the color series, making 100 issues
of the ongoing series, (this doesn't count mini-series, one shots, crossovers, etc) comes in 2
variant covers. Variant cover B is featured on the back as a flipbook image of Variant book A
and vica versa. 24 pages of story and action center around the Diggers sisters trio and the
'return' of two of Gina's arch-enemies. Penny and Charlotte also make a 2 page appearance.
After the story is another 6 pages of 'Gold Digger for Newbies' information that helps newer
fans understand what's happened before they picked up the series. It also includes an event timeline. |
