ISSUE #5 (incorrectly labeled "#0") - 24 pgs - Back in Eden, (see
Issue #4 of the mini-series) Jetta is watching over her newborn son, Pojo, while
waiting for her mate, Thabian, to return from hunting for dinner. Not wanting to lose her battle skills,
Jetta places Pojo down to practice some moves. It's then that Tanya, magically disguised as Cheetah, kidnaps
Pojo and threatens his life if Jetta doesn't agree to a challenge. Tanya vanishes just before Thabian can
grab her, but the trap is set. In El-Dorado, the festival is well under way and Stripe has the pleasure of
explaining what the event is for. He's had his advisor, Primus, discover the
date of Britanny's true birthday, which is that very evening. Another cut scene takes us to Atlanta where
Gina has just received a call from Penny that the reward from Princess Tyr is ready but she'll have to get
to the airport in 10 minutes before Ace's plane leaves to go pick it up. Dr. Diggers, still curious about the
way Britanny had vanished from the compound, goes to El-Dorado to speak with her. Meanwhile, Tanya is putting
the next stage of her plan in motion by seperating Britanny from Stripe with a fake message that Gina is on
the trans-com and needs to speak to her. When alone, Tanya teleports Britanny down into the catacombs beneath
El-Dorado where Jetta has been waiting. A vicious battle begins between the two weres. The final stage of
Tanya's plan is completed as she resumes her Cheetah disguise and walks in on Stripe practicing engagement
speeches. She viciously turns him down and threatens his life if he should bother her again. Exiting his
room, Tanya's plan would have been perfect except for the appearance of Dr. Diggers just then. He quickly
sees through Tanya's disguise, forcing her to make another magical withdrawl. Even more worried about his
daughter now, Dr. Diggers transports himself directly to her... only to have his entire torso shredded and
torn out as he appeared between Brit and Jetta. This attack sends Britanny into a rage and she knocks Jetta
unconscious. Tanya ports Thabian into the catacombs to delay things. He quickly defeats Brit and tries to
calm Jetta from wanting to kill Brit... but only a magical blast from the supposedly-dead Dr. Diggers can
put a stop to her attack. |

ISSUE #6 - 24 pgs - This issue opens with Penny and Ace about to leave
from Cherry Point Air Base, North Carolina to meet with the Atlantians. Gina races onto the air base in her
Gina-Mobile Mk 2. Though the plane has already taken off the runway, Gina's car is equipped with her patented
hyperwave teleporter, which she uses to get into the plane without Penny's knowledge. Back in the catacombs
beneath El Dorado, Theo faces off against Jetta and Thabian. Britanny wakes to find Theo having knocked most
of the fight out of the weres. A partial truce is created between the four while Tanya prepares her defences.
The comic shifts back to Penny, Ace, and Gina. We see a flashback to Ace's first meeting with Gina and
Britanny before the action cuts back to El Dorado. Creatures begin to come out of the walls and ceiling to
attack our heroes. Britanny rushes back to help Jetta, at Theo's insistance, after the cavern had collapsed
around them all and crushed Jetta's legs. They make it out of the trap to Tanya's disbelief as Stripe appears
in the final panel, spying on Tanya, before the comic switches back to Penny and company just as they're
attacked by Dark Bird. The action cuts back to Britanny and the rest (you'll have to look at
Issue 7 for the conclusion of the Dark Bird attack) as they prepare to charge into
Tanya's lair. Theo smartly uses illusions of the group to trigger Tanya's last trap, a disintegration crystal.
Thabian sneaks around to try and grab his son, but Jetta's marble golem prevents the action. Spell bolts fly
as the battle appears a deadlock... until Pojo vanishes from Tanya's hold. Stripe has finally made his move,
saving the child. With no living shielf to protect herself, Tanya is swiftly defeated. As a fitting
punishment to match her crime, Tanya is shrunk to the size of a doll and taken away by Jetta and Thabian as
a new 'pet' for their child. |
