Dreadwing is a dragon who had been banished back to our time, along with his slaves, Mesha & Tark, after losing a fight with a wandering time traveller who gave up his life to defeat Dreadwing. Dread is a manipulative liar who tried to trick Gina into repairing the broken Time Raft of the traveller in exchange for part of his horde. As planned, he reneged on the deal, using the excuse that Gina & Cheetah were going to team up with the elves to defeat him with the repaired raft. Mesha & Tark's magic wasn't enough to beat the dragon and it seemed like he wass going to win before Cheetah 'sacrified' herself by charging into a flame blast. Gina used that moment to activate the Time Raft's self-destruct sequence which turned ole DW into a pile of bones.
